Today sees the release of Insomnia EP by Zigi SC on Eatbrain — three tracks: the title cut “Insomnia” plus two collabs, “Synapse Breaker” with Frannabik and “Phase Shift” with Karpa. The release launches as a Beatport & Spotify exclusive on Aug 25, with global digital distribution from Sept 8. Martin Garrix also makes a notable move into DnB today: his new track “Set Me Free” (with Arcando and vocalist Bonn) is officially his first-ever DnB release. It dropped on STMPD RCRDS and will feature on the September EP ORIGO, alongside earlier singles “Sleepless Nights” (with Armin van Buuren) and “Inside Our Hearts” (with Alesso). Another clear sign that drum & bass is penetrating the mainstream.
