It’s no longer just a dream. This year’s Rock for People is bringing one of the most iconic bands of the past two decades to the Czech Republic. Linkin Park.
And even though we all know the name by heart, it still feels slightly surreal: we’re going to see them live. In Hradec. In June.
Linkin Park is one of those bands that never really age. Sure, they evolve – just like the world around them – but they’ve remained the soundtrack of an entire generation.
Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight… how many of us grew up with these albums? And how many of us return to them now with nostalgia, and a fresh perspective?
After the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017, it seemed like the Linkin Park story had ended. But in August 2024, the band announced their return – and it exceeded every expectation.
With Emily Armstrong (known from the band Dead Sara) taking over lead vocals, and a renewed lineup featuring a new drummer and touring guitarist, Linkin Park kicked off a powerful new chapter.
Their comeback started with the explosive single The Emptiness Machine, which shot to the top of global charts and now counts nearly 250 million streams on Spotify.
Their second track, Heavy Is the Crown, was chosen as the official anthem for the League of Legends World Championship, and racked up over 65 million views on YouTube within weeks.
On November 15, 2024, the band released their eighth studio album, From Zero, followed by a world tour – which has been selling out venues across the globe.
And now, this musical juggernaut is heading to the Czech Republic.
After seven long years, Linkin Park will once again take the stage for Czech fans – this time at a festival that promises an unforgettable energy and a sea of loyal followers.
Over the years, Linkin Park’s music has also become a major source of inspiration for the drum & bass community.
A number of their tracks have been reimagined into high-energy remixes that hit just as hard in clubs as they do at festivals. Some of the most beloved reworks include:
Powerful lyrics. Raw emotion. Relentless energy. Linkin Park’s sound clearly transcends genres – and we can’t wait to experience it all again, live and loud.
What about you? Will you be there too?
