Plat:form: producer Rido’s label and curatorial project

Plat:form is a label and loosely connected curatorial venture developed in recent years by Prague-based producer and sound engineer Rido. Alongside original singles, it serves as a space for collaborations and cassette/podcast formats. The first entries surfaced in 2021–2022, when Plat:form channels began hosting podcasts and Rido’s joint tracks with guests. The second force behind the label is producer/DJ Phonetick. Plat:form has been created as a collaborative project where ideas can flow.

Sound and catalogue

Plat:form’s catalogue leans on precisely targeted, often film-tinted drum & bass—ranging from technical neuro to atmospheric, melody-forward singles. Standout earlier releases include the double A-side “Crocodile / Maybe” (Rido, Holotrope, Phonetick; cat. PLT004, 7 April 2022) and solo cuts such as “YOU,” “Change Me,” “Keep Austin Weird,” “Ghetto Blaster,” “Know You,” and the latest “NO eE” (Rido & Phonetick, 2024–2025). Exact release dates are listed across store and label profiles.

Rido at the helm

Rido (Pavel Ridoško) has long been among the most distinctive Czech producers operating between club electronics and cinematic sound design. A graduate of SAE Sydney in audio engineering, he established himself internationally via key drum & bass imprints; Plat:form is his own curated outlet for both solo and collaborative work.

What to watch next

Plat:form maintains a steady flow of material: beyond singles, expect occasional podcasts and studio snapshots documenting work-in-progress and collaborations (e.g., with Phonetick, Holotrope, Thez). For updates, follow the label’s channels (SoundCloud/YouTube) and official announcements on merch and the website.

Plat:form is a local label that values detail and a consistent signature over volume. If you’re after technically refined yet melodically readable DnB, its catalogue is a solid entry point.
